COMPUTERISED PHACO. CENTRE:

A) This is the advanced technology for the eye surgery of cataract, where we can operate the patient with minimal incision i.e. only 2.8 mm. incision. The patient’s relatives can see the live surgical demonstration at the time of surgery on the television (TV).
B) There is another facility of recording of the live surgery on laptop.

PHACOEMULSIFICATION MACHINE:

This is the advanced machine ALCON UNIVERSAL II made in USA.

MICROSCOPE:

This is CARL-ZEISS microscope made in Germany. & another one is 5 step microscope.

N D YAG LASER MACHINE:

For the treatment of glaucoma and posterior capsular opacity.

SLIT LAMP with CCTV :

This is used for routine examination of OPD patients & we can show them the eye problems to the patients on TV.

A-SCAN :

This is used for Pre- Operative calculation of lens power for the cataract surgery.

KERATOMETER :

This is used for the calculation of corneal curvature.

LENSOMETER :

For the calculation of the power of the spectacle lens.

RETINOSCOPE & FUNDOSCOPE :

For the examination of the type of refractive error &fundus.

COMPUTER :

For the purpose of documentation.

LAPTOP :

For the purpose of documentation & recording of surgeries.

ELECTRICITY :

Two 2.5 KVA on line UPS, for continues backup of 12hours & 3 KVA Generator

PULSOXYMETER :

This is used at the time of surgery for the monitoring the patients.

Indirect ophthalmoscope :

this machine is used for the examination of retina.

perimeter :

this machine is used for the evaluation of glaucoma and this gives guideline for the medical management of glaucoma.

auto refractometer :

this machine is used for the examination of refractive error.

auto keratometer :

this equipment is used for the measurement of corneal curvature so that it will give the site of incision for cataract surgery.

slit lamp :

this is used for examination of eye in all OPD patients.

autolensometer :

it gives us the power of glasses. So that it will tell us that the pect is correct or wrong.
